Role Summary The Rivian Sr. Financial Services Originations Specialist is responsible for interfacing with customers, Rivian internal teams, and bank partners to guide customers through the vehicle financing process. This opening is remote and reports to a Manager- Financial Services Operations. The focus will be to help customers seamlessly finance Rivian vehicles and support the end-to-end Rivian sales process in a collaborative, customer focused, streamlined, and efficient manner.
Responsibilities Create, maintain, and manage consumer finance originations processes, constantly searching for ways to improve customer experience and increase efficiency of digital and manual processes. Interact with bank partner underwriting teams acting as the customer advocate to resolve/negotiate escalated items. Interact directly with customers both proactively and inbound as needed via multiple channels (phone, email, chat) to resolve complex credit application decisions and help customers complete their financing in an expeditious manner. Responsible for coordinating the sale of Rivian Financial Services products while increasing overall finance/lease penetration and customer satisfaction. Document critical processes and procedures to ensure quality and compliance. Act as subject matter expert for other customer facing internal Rivian teams on Rivian Financial Services origination policies and processes. Verify accuracy on all finance contract documents, resolve any outstanding stipulations, and submit funding packages to bank partner teams as needed. Meet or exceed team and individual Key Performance Indicators. Qualifications 5+ years relevant experience in auto/installment loan/lease financial services operational roles (e.g. underwriting, credit, customer service, titles, remarketing etc.). Demonstrated experience with auto finance software systems. Experience using CRM systems is preferred. Effective collaboration skills and a positive, high energy, can-do attitude. Ability to execute with minimal direction/independent judgement. Ability to negotiate and structure terms to meet customer/bank needs. Ability to multi-task while maintaining quality of work and attention to detail. Ability to learn quickly, thrive in a fast-paced high-pressure environment, and adapt to changing timelines. Pay Disclosure Salary Range for California Based Applicants : $87,000 to $109,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range for Washington Based Applicants: $87,000 to $109,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range for Colorado Based Applicants : $83,100 to $104,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range for New York Based Applicants : $94,000 to $118,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
