Responsibilities
• Distribute work orders and job assignments to technicians• Communicate with managers, shop leads, and service advisors about vehicle status• Track and monitor productivity and efficiency in the shop• Plan appointments and manage workload based on capacity• Resolve issues and challenges during work completion• Book technicians for operations performed• Inform stakeholders of schedule changes• Relay work orders, messages, and information• Review parts availability and accuracy of work order notes• Support Manager with daily meetings and performance indicators
Requirements
• HS Diploma or GED preferred• Minimum 5 years' experience in a dispatch role or similar in the Automotive industry• Basic technical knowledge of automotive vehicles• Strong understanding of written and spoken English• Very strong communication skills• Flexible and responsive to changing conditions• Organizational and time management skills• Able to manage deadlines and make informed decisions• Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills• Strong computer skills• Ability to work night shift if required• Physical exertion may be required to perform occupational tasks• Pay range: $28.35 to $33.10 per hour
