We are currently seeking an Aeroacoustics Engineer. You will join our Aerodynamics team to minimize wind noise and contribute to creating acoustic and vibration harmony in Lucid vehicles. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
Role:
Contribute to wind noise simulations and testing activities to achieve world-class quietness
Identify opportunities for aeroacoustics improvement, provide and implement innovative solutions
Advance the development of robust processes to perform accurate vehicle wind noise simulations
Work interactively and efficiently within a multidisciplinary cooperative environment, directly interfacing with the design studio and other engineers

Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant experience; MS or PhD degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Aerodynamics Engineering or a related field.
Solid understanding of aerodynamic and acoustic fundamentals
Strong knowledge of vehicle aeroacoustics
Experience with various CFD and CAA software
A practical hands-on experience with experimental acoustic measurement
A team player attitude
Outstanding communication skills

Preferred:
An ability to create CAD surfaces to develop new concepts or modify current design
Experience with air flow-generated noise from HVAC components and fans
Vehicle Testing experience in aeroacoustics wind tunnels and road tests.
