Job SummaryUnder the general direction of the Dean of the College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPaCE), the Sr. Director of Marketing and Enrollment Management oversees the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to drive enrollment growth, increase program awareness, and enhance the overall reputation of CPaCE programs. This position is responsible for developing and implementing enrollment strategies to meet or exceed enrollment targets, analyze enrollment data to identify trends, adjust strategies accordingly, and improve conversion rates by attracting, and retaining a diverse and qualified student body for CPaCE programs, in addition to managing the CPaCE student services unit which includes registration and advising.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning and Leadership: Provide direction and supervision for each of the sub-units (marketing, graphics, enrollment management, and student services). This involves developing and implementing strategic plans, prioritizing work assignments, and overseeing an integrated marketing and enrollment management and student services plan that ensure success of the college and its initiatives.Marketing Research and Development: Develop research strategies for the college and its partners, including identifying target audiences and new marketing opportunities. Serve as a consultant and service provider to all CPaCE units and departments, providing strategic input and marketing expertise. Support the design, development, and marketing of CPaCE products and services. Actively participate in professional associations related to marketing communications and enrollment management, as well as continuing higher education.Prospect Recruitment and Outreach: Oversee the development and execution of targeted recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber students. Collaborate with programmatic units and campus stakeholder to create and disseminate compelling messaging and materials that highlight the university and CPaCE programs' strengths.Website and social media: Provide leadership in assessing, developing, and implementing website strategy to continually improve the existing website and web content. Ensure that CPaCE programs maintain professional and effective social media strategies and content.Administration and Supervision: Provide leadership and supervision of marketing, graphics, enrollment management, and student services department staff.Budget and Finance: Establish departmental budget and ensure that all budgetary requirements are met. Responsible for budgetary cost planning and analysis functions for the department.Knowledge Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of policy and procedure, formulations and implementation, budgets, personnel management, and educational administration. Knowledge of current enrollment systems and related levels of technological applications, and databases. Demonstrated knowledge of self-support programs, both credit and professional development, preferably in a continuing higher education setting. Knowledge of website production. Knowledge of social media best practices. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability in marketing and enrollment management. Ability to utilize organizational and decision-making skills to manage complex and diversified program areas. Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Minimum of five years professional experience in a higher education setting or other related work environment that provides the requisite knowledge and ability for this position, including appropriate supervisory and leadership experience.• Master's degree preferred.• Experience working in a higher education continuing education college/unit is preferred.• Project management experience.• Experience working with a nontraditional student population.• Experience in CSU system policies and procedures.Physical SummarySedentary work - Involves mainly sitting.
