Sr Cycle Count Accountant

Job SummaryThe Sr Cycle Count Accountant position is responsible for implementing the AMC Cycle counting procedures for all ASARCO mines. He will as well be working with the Warehouse Improvement Project team on material revision initiatives.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSABILITIES:• Will be in charge of establishing cycle counting procedures for all ASARCO mines.• Will execute cycle counting process at all ASARCO mines.• Responsible for accounting entries, accounts analysis, monthly reporting, and support for warehouse project.• Warehouse accounting control, preparation of reports, KPIs indicators, and attention to internal and external audits under company policies.• Specialized accounting support during inventory cycle counts and accounting support in strategic projects for warehouse improvement.• Counting warehouse inventory & inventory adjustments making.• Train additional staff under his supervision for cycle count procedures and warehouse improvements initiatives.EXPERTISE:• B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Business or related fields• Minimum 4-year experience in Cycle counting procedures• Minimum 2-year experience working in an industrial warehouse environment• Experience in continuous improvement initiatives desired• Strong SAP MM knowledge desired• Fluent in English.• Excellent communication skills and teamwork skills.
