Sr Cobol Developer- 10+ Yrs Exp

We are looking for an experienced COBOL design/developer for a 6-month project in the North Chicago suburbs. This is a hybrid work environment, so someone that can be in the office 3x a week is strongly preferred. In addition to COBOL development, we need someone that has the analysis skill to look at existing COBOL programs and figure out what the logic is doing, then communicate and document those findings.

Required Skill:

Strong Mainframe COBOL, TSO, CICS and JCL skills
DB2 as well as VSAM skills
Good communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to work on team as well as independently
Strong analytic skills
Insurance industry background and ideally with commissioning applications
