Sr. Architecture Engineer, Chassis

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer in the Chassis team, you will help design and deliver world-leading suspension architectures for our electric vehicle platforms. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches their work with vigor and determination.Role:Manage multiple complex projects in a demanding environmentDeliver engineering concepts aligned with vehicle and chassis targets and assess full vehicle trade-offs.Lead teams in solving complex packagingCollaborate with engineering and studio to lead prototype hardware delivery Lead CAD studies for vehicle variants and platform developmentContribute to technology roadmaps for future vehiclesQualifications:5+ years of automotive industry experience, focused on early vehicle developmentProven 3D CAD skillsHands-on practical experience in prototype and production assembly processesExperience in technology, system, and supplier selectionKnowledge of steering, brakes, structures, and vehicle dynamics principles Project leadership and mentoring skillsTravel domestically and internationally up to 20% as neededAdvantageous:10+ years of automotive industry experienceExperience and proficiency with CATIA V5/V6Knowledge of NVH principlesKnowledge of vehicle crash safety principlesKnowledge of body structures principlesExperience developing vehicle level attributesAbility to run CAE analysis toolsEducation:BS/BEng or MS/MEng, or equivalent experience, in Mechanical Engineering or similar
