The USCS team is focused on making membership an indisputable competitive advantage and helping each other become better leaders every day.The U.S. Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of the US Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle.The Digital & Direct Customer Growth Team, within the US Consumer Marketing Group, is responsible for driving incremental revenue growth through customer-centric strategies across Site, Paid, MYCA, Email & Direct Mail marketing web & mobile channels to deepen engagement and make Amex essential for our Card Members.This Senior Analyst will help lead charge in developing marketing strategies through email and direct mail channels that drive spend and lend activity across customer proven revenue driving treatments with a focus on Customer Level Pricing (Promotional APR's) and Income Capture.Each proven revenue driving treatment delivers significant value for the organization and this Senior Analyst will help develop compelling marketing creatives, modernize journeys, optimize targeting strategy, analyze complex campaign performance data, and ensure flawless operational execution. The ideal candidate should have a passion for marketing in the email and direct mail channels; ability to challenge the status quo with innovative thinking; have experience with analyzing campaign performance data; and be able to collaborate effectively with key partners around the organization including Product, Analytics, Brand, GCO, Compliance, Treatment Strategy, Direct Mail Excellence, Salesforce, Investment Management & Services & External Creative Agencies.Core Responsibilities include:Influence development of new customer-centric marketing that will deliver incremental revenue across proven treatments in the email & direct mail channelInfluence our strategy and results by identifying new opportunities, innovating our tactics, and applying a test & learn approachStrong financial intelligence and problem-solving skillsAbility to partner, build internal relationships and influence key partners while thriving in a highly collaborative, fast paced environmentUplift Web & enable Amex Mobile App conversion channel to keep journeys modern and simplifiedExcellent business knowledge, clear written and verbal communication skillsAbility to deliver successful results in a complex environment and lead others even with limited direct authority at timesOptimize targeting/segmentation strategy in close partnership with Data Science, Card Product, Risk, and Finance teamsAnalyze monthly results reporting, forecasting and budget activities for respective treatmentsMinimum Qualifications2+ years of marketing experienceDemonstrated ability developing & executing marketing; experience in email, direct mail or digital marketing preferredExperience in growth marketing, a plusCustomer centric marketer who can translate insights into strategiesStrategic thought starter who can develop a vision linked to organizational goals, but also deliver work with consistence, independence, and excitementHave a "can do" attitude towards problem solving and demonstrated ability to work well with new opportunitiesMarketing experience with demonstrated test & learn and customer-centric prioritiesStrong project management and organizational skills including attention to detail, handling multiple priorities, managing timelines, driving flawless executionHigh proficiency in Excel; comfortable managing complex data and proven ability to derive insights from itExpert ability to build and manage relationships across band-levels to influence internal and external partners across multiple work streams to deliver resultsSuperior verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skillsSalary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
