Senior Accountant Auditor Location: Miami, Florida
Company Description: Client is a leading Fortune 150 Title Insurance company committed to providing exceptional services to its clients nationwide. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant Audit to join our dynamic team.
Job Responsibilities: Conduct finance and accounting audits for the company's escrow and title retail branches. Conduct financial and accounting audits for the company's accounting processes and systems. Review and analyze financial statements and reports. Evaluate internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to management. Assist in the development of audit programs and testing procedures. Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure audit objectives are met. Stay updated on accounting standards and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. (required) CPA certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years of audit experience preferred in the escrow and title industry. Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures. Experience with JD Edwards, Hyperion, and SoftPro is a plus. Advanced Excel skills (required). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Proficiency in MS Office and audit software.
