SQL/POWER BI Developer An in-person interview Tempe, Arizona (This role is a hybrid schedule role of remote 2 days a week and onsite 3 days a week.) 12+ Months Required Skills Our client is looking for a SQL/Power BI Developer with excellent communication skills. Experience as a BA or gathering requirements is a plus, not required. Advanced knowledge of SQL (experience as SQL developer preferred) to dig into data to write a detail level requirement. Understanding of software development methodologies (any experience with software development helpful). Understand basics of data modeling. Ability to dig into the data and determine the correct tables to use from a particular source without a lot of assistance. Power BI development experience is required. Elicits, analyzes, and prioritizes business level and functional project requirements. Liaison between Information Technology & Business by leading and facilitating cross functional business requirement gathering sessions to identify system requirements and capabilities to support execution of business objectives. Defines and develops business process workflow diagrams and data flow diagrams. Assists with user acceptance testing. Communicates regularly with key stakeholders, subject matter experts and the project team to ensure alignment, understand progress against deliverables, and identify issues and solutions as needed.
