Responsibilities
• Evaluate the impact of resident information on assessment and treatment• Conduct and document thorough assessments of residents• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs• Comply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines• Instruct and provide supervision to aides• Enter progress notes in the resident record• Revise treatment programs based on resident performance• Document treatment summaries• Orient residents to program services and procedures• Instruct residents and caregivers about therapeutic procedures
Requirements
• Master's Degree in Speech and Language Therapy• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)• Valid state Speech Language Pathology licensure• Continuing education and professional development
