Responsibilities
• Perform detailed sanitation and upkeep of the facility• Clean and sanitize processing equipment• Remove trash and product/soil from the plant• Clean floors, walls, ceilings, tabletops, and surfaces• Scrub kitchen floors on a daily basis• Clean kitchen, spin, and staging equipment• Run CIP in the Spin room• Swab equipment and notify supervisors• Follow sanitation schedules and achieve goals• Follow sanitation practices and training
Requirements
• Previous experience in Sanitation in a Food Production and Manufacturing environment• Knowledge of GMPs, SSOPs, Food Safety and Sanitation Procedures• Knowledge of chemical usage, PPE, and regulations• Fluency in English: reading, writing, speaking is required• Spanish speaking as a second language is preferred• Decision-making/problem-solving skills and listening skills• Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS)• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment• Ability to handle difficult and/or sensitive situations• Willingness to learn and adhere to proper safety procedures
