10 Points is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team for the school year 2023-24.The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for providing instruction and support to students with disabilities in a range of educational. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities. Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities in a range of subject areas. Monitor and track student progress and make adjustments to instruction as needed. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and solicit input. Participate in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans for students with disabilities. Attend IEP meetings and other meetings related to the education of students with disabilities. Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and attendance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred) Valid state teaching certification in Special Education. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students with disabilities and their families. Knowledge of best practices in special education instruction and assessment.
