Lilac City Behavioral Services is seeking a highly qualified and motivated teacher to help launch our second on-site special education program Lilac Learning Center in Vancouver, WA. This third location of our one-of-a-kind WA program will open Fall of 2024 and serves students with moderate to severe disabilities with an instructional focus on communication skills, adaptive behavior, life skills and community-based instruction. Full Time $70-90,000 per year plus  quarterly bonus program and annual profit sharing plan
Bonus program may pay up to an additional $5,600 per year!

Self Contained Lilac Learning Center Classroom
Start Date: Immediately
Caseload: Up to 12 students with the support of a Full Time Behavior Analyst
School Year: Year-round program, 210-215 days/year
Benefits: Competitive Salary and PTO Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Long Term Disability Insurances 401K with company match and profit sharing plan Supervision provided for candidates seeking certification in ABA Highly Supported teaching environment with ongoing BCBA support and 1:1 staff for all students Preferred Qualifications: Professional background in Applied Behavior Analysis Seeking further education in Special Education and/or Applied Behavior Analysis Professional background and/or professional training in working with children with moderate to severe disabilities ages 3-21Professional background and/or professional training in working with children who exhibit severe/challenging behavior Professional background working with children to teach functional communication skills both vocally and using AAC devices. Minimum Qualifications Must have a Bachelors or Masters degree Must hold or qualify for a Washington teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement. Must hold or be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR certification Training or willingness to be trained in QBS Safety Care de-escalation and crisis management techniques including physical management / restraint & isolation procedures Duties / Performance: Demonstrated professional training and/or successful prior experience in the field of special education including student assessment, development and implementation of specially designed instruction & IEPs, progress monitoring and team decision making / collaboration Demonstrated ability to work with students with moderate-severe disabilities Ability to develop and implement IEPs that address student strengths and needs while aligning to WA state standards Ability to coordinate with other staff members in the provision of student IEP services Demonstrated ability to collaborate with parents and include them in the IEP / educational process Demonstrated ability to communicate, establish rapport, and work effectively with children and youth, parents, staff, community members and administrative personnel. Ability to provide instruction in a variety of settings including individual, small group, classroom and community based instruction  Ability to train and provide immediate supervision to certified behavior technicians working  Maintain confidentiality and other ethical responsibilities.
