Special Education Teacher

Spindle is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team of passionate educators! As a Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs. Job Details Contract runs through the 23/24 school year
Full time hours, about 37.5 per week
Middle School caseload, cognitively impaired students
Paraprofessional support in classroom
Pay rate is $36 per hour Responsibilities Develop and implement IEP's for students with special needs, focusing on academic, behavioral and social-emotional goals
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities within the classroom
Monitor and assess students' progress regularly, making data-driven decisions to adjust instructional strategies as needed
Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning, creativity and social interaction Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
Michigan certification in Special Education
Prior experience working with students with special needs is preferred
