Role Overview:
As a Special Education Teacher, you'll play a pivotal role in creating a vibrant online learning experience for K-12 students. Your main responsibilities will include designing and implementing personalized educational plans, tracking student progress, fostering positive relationships with students and parents/guardians, and actively participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver tailored educational plans for both individual students and groups.
Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Cultivate a professional and supportive relationship with parents/guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
Actively participate in IEP meetings to collaboratively develop and review educational goals.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
Valid South Dakota State teaching license.
Experience in a remote learning environment is preferred.
Flexible availability for either part-time or full-time roles.
Ability to provide and maintain your own technology equipment.
