If you are detail-oriented, hardworking, and looking for a place to call home, we invite you to apply for this opening.Job DescriptionPosition Summary & ObjectiveThe Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing business opportunities and achieving order intake targets within the Southeast United States. They will develop Key Account Management strategies for the customers within the respective territory, allowing companies to fully understand the customer organization, its influencers, and the decision-making process.Essential Functions Performed by the PositionOrder intake volumeOrder intake profit levelStatus of KAM developmentSole-source orderManage all aspects of the customer relationships for all customers within the assigned regionEscalate all issues as soon as the issues are known that will affect this relationshipEstablish and maintain liaison associated suppliers, contractors, consultants, EPC firms, etc. that affect the customers and the order intake volume for the assigned regionEstablish and maintain liaison with U.S. companies and government agencies involved in assigned business areas that affect the regional customers.Review technical and commercial requirements of customer requests for proposalsRequest and coordinate feedback from company departments as necessary for proposal preparationPrepare bids and proposals which are consistent with company objectives and customer requirements.Negotiate final contracts with customers and release the contracts within the companyPerform role of principle customer contract from the bid stage through finalization of the contractSolicit bids from major subcontractors as required in the proposal preparation stageCoordinate contract documents, update proposal scope of supply and use to fill out contract release formKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to communicate effectivelyDetail orientedProblem solving skillsAbility to work in teams and independentlyAbility to analyze dataStrong critical thinking skillsStrong written and verbal skillExcellent time management skillsKnowledge of business and marketing conceptsQualificationsRequired Education and ExperienceHydro turbine sales, engineering, manufacture, operation, or maintenance experience preferred.Engineering or business related Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceLicenses or Certifications RequiredValid drivers licenseEnvironment and Working ConditionsLong periods of sittingTravel RequirementsUp to 75%LocationRemotePreferred to be located in Southeast United StatesAdditional InformationThe benefits of joining our teamBecause we seek to hire the best people, we work hard to provide benefits that make their lives better, so we offer a comprehensive benefit program which features:health coverage for you and your family through medical, dental and vision plansa 401(k) plan in with a generous company matchfinancial protection through disability, life, and accidental death & dismemberment insurance planstax advantages through flexible spending accounts that allow you to pay for specific health-care and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollarsa generous paid time off program in which the benefits increase along with your tenure with the companyWhen you join our team, you do more than simply switch companies to progress your career.
