The Headlines : In the role of Solutions Designer – Manufacturing Execution and Integration (SAP PP-PI/APO) in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the Information Technology team. This person will design solutions for manufacturing processes and production scheduling, keeping up on market trends and best practices to help identify opportunities for improvement. This role is accountable to be the subject matter expert in SAP PP-PI and associated integrations who can work as a great partner with the business.
This position reports to the Sr. Mgr of Solution Delivery and works closely with cross functional teams within US and Romania deploying projects and solutions focused on manufacturing and production planning.
The Responsibilities: Design, build, and deliver solutions for the supply chain execution processes focused on manufacturing, integration with SAP and Non-SAP software solutions such as APO, Infor, MES System. Assists in testing and implementation of solutions in the supply chain execution area. Identifies, proposes, and initiates software process improvement activities within your area of expertise. Partner with the internal and external team members to convert functional and technical specifications into a functioning business orientated system-based solution. Collaborate with the various stakeholders in the solution delivery team to develop and execute a full life cycle of test plans. Continually analyze ways to improve integration solutions to promote data reliability and quality. Assist with troubleshooting issues driven by user errors. The Other Qualifications: You have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, OR equivalent experience (4+ years) in the field of solution design You have at least 2 years of experience in full life cycle, complex SAP PP-PI implementation experience using ASAP Methodology You have at least 2 years of experience and knowledge of integration and interface options for SAP PP with planning and execution systems such as APO, MES You have at least 3 years of experience in application development/process transformation experience in an industry that would be considered process industry. You have experience with managing SAP master data related to production scheduling (MRP/material masters, bills of materials, routings, work centers) Highly preferred expertise in the following: Experience with SAP IBP Suite Experience with designing and developing systems and solutions within APO Suite (DP/SNP/PPDS/TLB) Experience with SAP HANA Knowledge/deep understanding of supply planning concepts – previous experience with a CPG company a plus Knowledge of several IT areas, including development and maintenance; change management; configuration management; reliability and safety methods; software process models and quality assurance (testing) You love a challenge.
