Solidworks Designer

Actalent Engineering is recruiting for a Solidworks Designer for a hi-tech manufacturing client in Knoxville, TN. Job Description: Extensive experience in Solidworks (able to import mfg parts, create assemblies, create assembly drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, etc.) Experience designing power distribution and low-voltage DC panels for industrial automation which meet those standards Knowledge of relevant components (fuse holders, circuit breakers, terminals, etc.) Optional but preferred experience: Proficient in Solidworks electrical, experience with PLC/controls systems and panels. Knowledge of applicable NFPA and UL codes/standards This is a consulting opportunity, and while on contract we are offering a competitive compensation package including overtime rates, access to benefits (Health/Dental/Vision, other benefits), personalized training and paid PTO/holidays.
