We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Solder Assembly Technician to join our team.

As a Solder Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our electronic assemblies meet the highest industry standards, specifically adhering to IPC-A-610A criteria. You will work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, where your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to quality are essential. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Soldering: Perform soldering and assembly of electronic components, connectors, and PCBs according to IPC-A-610A requirements.

Conduct visual inspections to verify that soldered assemblies meet the specified standards and are free of defects. Document and report any non-conformities.

Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of soldering equipment and tools. Report any issues promptly.

Accurately identify and handle various electronic components, ensuring correct placement and orientation during assembly.

Complete work orders, inspection reports, and maintain records of all soldering and assembly activities.

Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to resolve any technical issues and implement process improvements.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with soldering equipment and materials.

Skills/Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in soldering and electronic assembly, with a strong understanding of IPC-A-610A standards.

Knowledge of electronic components and their handling requirements.

Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Good manual dexterity and fine motor skills.

Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Familiarity with soldering equipment and tools.

IPC-A-610A certification is a plus.
