Main Responsibilities Include: Installing and maintaining electrical components of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in adherence to schematic layouts. Conducting electrical and safety checks to ensure compliance with national and local codes. Collaborating with project managers and engineers to optimize system performance. Diagnosing and troubleshooting system malfunctions and performing necessary repairs. Keeping up to date with advancements in solar technology and electrical safety standards. Providing technical guidance and support to project teams and clients regarding electrical installations. Ensuring all work is carried out with a strong emphasis on health and safety practices. Ideal Candidate Profile: Experienced in electrical installations within the solar or renewable energy sector. Current knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards related to solar PV systems. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical plans and solar schematics. Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical issues. Commitment to environmental sustainability and renewable energy technologies. Essential Qualifications and Skills: A recognised qualification in electrician certification or equivalent. Experience working on solar PV installations or in a construction electrician role. Experience as an industrial electrician Knowledge of frame carpentry Strong knowledge of electrical systems low voltage high voltage power tools and hand tools Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) Comfortable working at heights and in various outdoor conditions.
