Job Title: IT - QA/QC - Sr. QA Specialist Hybrid: Jacksonville, FL This is NOT a C2C Position 45-50/hr on W2 100% Remote Must have experience testing Mongo DB and/or Postgres collections (main requirement) REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Degree in an IT related field or relevant work experience years of Professional experience in an IT related field preferably in a development or testing environment experience with both Automated and Manual testing in a lead environment (50/50) experience with front-end and back-end testing required have experience testing REST API's (Postman highly preferred) have experience leading teams, creating test scripts and test cases and taking lead on projects have experience testing Mongo DB and/or Postgres collections (main requirement) JOB SUMMARY: Essential functions: a test approach, identifying scope of testing with risk-based approach for each feature or scope of work in a project effort identifying test environments, dependencies, constraints, prioritizing test cases and scheduling time for the testing. for ensuring end to end testing methodology including all appropriate documentation and requirements. up software and hardware in the test lab, per specs. test results are accurate, thorough and appropriately documented. results and coordinates logistics to the Systems Analysts, Developers, and other key IT staff and leadership as appropriate. problems or results inconsistent with expected results. quality assurance tests on all work and performs detailed analysis on test results. application for release to the next testing stage or to the production environment. Generates and distributes periodic status reports for testing. up and executes complex scripts independently. up test data beds based on data matching specific test conditions. and executes moderately complex SQL queries. automated test scripts. resolution of system defects. Ensures appropriate hand-offs and re-testing provide technical guidance to other IT Testing Specialists. in requirements gathering sessions or solicits information on incomplete requirements. in facilitation and coordination of user acceptance testing. tests to aid learning and mitigate risks. with developers to create automated tests. with business analysts and business stakeholders to undertake exploratory testing. stories contain specific acceptance test conditions which communicate objectives to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. of performance and security vulnerability testing is a plus. product owner in coming up with the acceptance criteria for user stories. REQUIREMENTS: have strong knowledge of SDLC have strong knowledge of STLC have strong knowledge of Testing concepts be able to create and execute test cases understanding of the business process(s) and flows involved in the system capabilities being tested understands As-Is and To-Be business processes to understand what's changing to communicate with the business in business language and with developers in technical language have strong PC skills and demonstrated proficiency in the MS Office Suite products Experience with testing management tools: Selenium, Robotium, TestComplete, QTP, SoapUI, Visual Studio Test Pro, etc Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Jenkins, TestLink, Mantis, Postman, Firbug, etc have the ability to extract data utilizing moderately complex SQL queries to read logical and physical data models and understand the relationship between various tables to clearly identify data needs and requirements for the respective test efforts to execute automated test scripts as needed to read various system input/output files; XML, Flat, 834, 835, etc have the ability to create unique test scenarios PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: The preferred qualifications listed below reflect desired knowledge, skill, and/or experience.
