Job Summary
As the manager of a cross-functional software development team, you will work closely with other development team members to create exceptional software that helps our clients grow their businesses. Specifically, you will lead a team of developers and engineers supporting multiple applications in an Agile development environment. You will manage the sprint integrity, ensure proper capacity to meet the needs of your clients, and participate in designs, both high-level for new project ideation and detailed. In addition, you will master and circulate knowledge about emerging technologies, helping us push the boundaries of what's possible with creative solutions, while continuing to develop your skills as a key member of an Agile development team.
Responsibilities
Lead a full-stack team of developers and engineers.
Ensure an operational cadence that will maximize experimentation and learning.
Partner closely with Product to define feature requirements and ensure that we prioritize and execute on opportunities as effectively as possible.
Partner with internal teams to ensure that new product and features have a smooth path to scaling to meet the needs of our business.
Collaborate with peers on specifications, code reviews, and testing.
Play a critical role in all architecture, coding, testing, and deployment decisions.
Mentor team members to build a highly performing, highly engaged team.
Meet KPIs for the development team and be responsible for them on a weekly basis.
Partner with Dev-Ops Team and QA to release high-quality software, and ensure production operation.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in CS; Master's degree a plus.
6+ years' experience in software development.
4+ years' experience managing high-performance teams delivering software and/or services.
3+ years' experience requiring operational support of mission-critical applications.
Proven success leading high-performance teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Git, Visual Studio, C#, SQL Server.
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools like Team City a plus.
Experience with Agile development methodology a plus.
Pre-employment background check and drug screen is required.
