Come join us!Responsibilities Work closely with artists and designers to understand and define game features and system requirements.Implement, test, debug and maintain source code.Review the work of other engineers and provide constructive feedback in a highly collaborative environment.Provide ongoing support to artists and designers.Deliver high quality, functional systems on time and to specification.Make educated trade-offs between scope, quality and cost to develop.Must- Have Qualifications 2+ years professional software development experience.Professional experience working in C++.Professional experience developing with the Unreal game engineExperience developing with Unreal Motion Graphics (UMG) and BlueprintExperience collaborating with other engineers in a professional setting.Strong programming skills.Working knowledge of common algorithms and data structures, and practical experience in their application.Experience authoring technical documentation for assigned work.BS or higher in Computer Science or similar discipline (Physics, Math, EE, etc.), or equivalent experience.Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.Preferred QualificationsExperience with the Unreal Gauntlet Automation Framework.Mobile development experience.Professional game development experience.Experience optimizing software to meet performance goals.Experience porting existing software to new platforms.Experience developing and maintaining legacy software.Experience developing tools for content creation.About Us:Headquartered in Boston, MA at Demiurge you will find a studio with an amazing, collaborative culture and a deep respect for art in all our games.
