DESCRIPTION
RJ Byrd has been engaged to identify a hardworking, eager to accomplish developer with strong techincal skills. This is an entrepreneurial, fast moving company with not a lot downtime, so you will not be bored! Developers with only large company experience probably should look elsewhere.
In this role you will design, develop, modify and implement software solutions in a professional environment for external clients. The company's development had been outsourced in prior years but they're bringing it back in-house. Please note that this is a highly team interactive and facing position, so excellent communication and presentations skills are imperitive.
Implement new software features, user stories, and bug fixes
Migrate current applications and development from a traditional .Net environment to Azure using a Blazor tech stack.
Partner with product management in achieving development objectives driven by the product roadmap, customer requirements, and production support needs; current objectives are taking part in SSO and MFA in an Azure SaaS environment
Perform regression testing, error or logic tests or usability assessments
Perform logic verification, release testing and beta support for assigned projects
Perform manual testing to ensure software meets stated design requirements
Uphold existing quality assurance standards and processes
Aware of business issues as they impact overall project plans
Exhibit communications and interpersonal skills
QUALIFICATIONS
You must be self-motivated with the ability to work effectively within a team. This position requires analytical and problem-solving skills, and a passion for detail and accuracy. Responsibilities include support and/or installation of software applications. Position also requires customer interaction concerning maintenance of software.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline and/or relevant combination of training and education, certifications strongly preferred.
Ability to support and interact with customer base on software concerns or issues
Ability to prepare technical step-by-step documentation of completed tests
Provide necessary solutions for problems discovered during software deployments and document defect behavior
Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects and meet critical deadlines
3+ years experience with Microsoft Azure development tools
2+ years experience working with Blazor framework and familiarity with Telezik
Experience with Structured Query Languages, including Transact-SQL and SQL Lite
Experience designing MS SQL Server databases to model business processes is a plus
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Familiarity with Azure DevOps Services (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, and Artifacts) desired
Experience with Engineering/Construction Industry ERPs a plus
Organized and detail-orientated
