That's where you come in!As a Software Engineer working on the D&D team, you will join an adventuring party of engineers to build best-in-class digital play solutions for the world's greatest roleplaying game!What You'll Do:Create and maintain backend applications with scalability, reliability, and observability in mind, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.Create and maintain client applications with performance and reliability in mind, ensuring optimal customer experienceImplement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.Participate in on-call rotations where you will monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and implement solutions to improve overall system health.Participate in team planning and execution ritualsWhat You'll Bring:At least 2 years of experience as a software engineerProficiency in building resilient, interactive experiences with JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, and CSS, with hands-on experience in Node.jsExperience delivering resilient applications at a moderate scaleExperience designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting databases using relational and non-relational technologiesProven ability to deliver features that are accessible for as many people and devices as possibleExperience consuming APIs to produce data-drive experiencesFamiliarity building and maintaining cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform.Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog for monitoring, logging, and tracingNice to Have:Familiarity with C# and .NET CoreFamiliarity Next.jsFamiliarity with AWS and DockerA passion for Dungeons & Dragons (D&D)We are an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action EmployerThe above is intended to describe the general content of and the requirements for satisfactory performance in this position.
