By equipping the brightest minds with the best resources available, we provide an invaluable edge in real estate.You will be an integral part of our Business-for-Sale engineering team in San Francisco and will help our mission to inspire and help entrepreneurs to find business opportunities and create value through Business Ownership.This position is located in San Francisco and offers a hybrid schedule of 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop high performance web applications used by hundreds of thousands of users globallyDesign and develop using Object Oriented design principles and software design patterns to attain high reusability and maintainabilityCollaborate closely with other Software Engineers across the organization.Advocate standards-driven technologyFacilitate discussions among other .NET and database developers to exchange new ideas and improvementsContinually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStar's technology platform and development practices.Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college (preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field)5+ years of production development experience with C# .Net (or .Net Core)Experience with AWS S3, SQS, Dynamo, ElastiCache, Apache Kafka and DatadogExperience with IaC using Terraform.Experience delivering products that meet specifications and performance SLA.Experienced in unit, performance, and automation testing.Deeply understand what drives the business for which you are building software.Preferred Qualifications and SkillsExperience in relational database design in MySQL including performance tuningDemonstrate working knowledge Angular, Vue, React or in TypeScriptA demonstrable track record of building and launching successful products and platforms.What's in it for YouWhen you join CoStar Group, you'll experience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed.We offer you generous compensation and performance-based incentives.
