Description

HDI Global Insurance is searching for a Software Development Specialist who will play an important role in achieving profitability in automating various business tasks. This role will make use of solid analytical and technical skills and strong project management skills. The individual will analyze data, develop recommendations, and provide business insights. The developer will be required to code both individually and as a part of a team to achieve the MVP of their assigned projects. Ideally, the candidate has experience working as a full stack developer.

Responsibilities:

• Writing and maintaining software code using best practices.

• Supporting some legacy code and fixing bugs.

• Communicating effectively with Business Analysts and other Software Engineers using the Agile methodology.

• Writing and supporting older SQL reports.

• Integrating internal and external systems using Web APIs.

• Prior work experience with Azure, AWS and MongoDB is a plus.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience

• Strong understanding of C# language fundamentals

• Proficiency with Object Oriented Programming: .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, Blazor, Web API, Entity Framework, LINQ, SSIS, Dependency Injection

• Relational database experience, preferably MS SQL Server

• T-SQL, Database design and optimization techniques

• Experience working with Microsoft Azure
