Description Help design, build, and maintain world-class, high traffic web-based and desktop/server applications using Visual Studio and the .NET Framework, primarily targeted at the photography, image processing, and photo finishing industry. This is a remote position, but we prefer candidates located in or near the Baton Rouge area for occasional in-person meetups.
Our Expectations of You
Develop and maintain web applications using C# / .NET with a mix of WebForms, JavaScript, jQuery, and SQL Server based on specifications from other team members Eventually help migrate WebForm applications to ASP.NET Razor Pages and/or other newer technologies Support existing WinForms desktop applications using C# / .NET Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code Test and debug applications to ensure they are performing as expected Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback Take responsibility for your work and for successful outcomes Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the field and suggest improvements to the team Technical Requirements (Must Have)
Degree from a four year college or equivalent experience (coding bootcamp) and motivation 1+ years experience as a .NET C# Developer with WebForms and SQL Server experience 1+ years experience building Web Solutions with technologies like ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or equivalent Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Good verbal and written communication skills Permanent legal right to work in the United States Nice to Have
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical field of study Experience with WinForms, Entity Framework, Web Services, .Net Core, .Net 6, .Net 7, and Razor Pages JavaScript Framework programming experience with VueJS, React, Angular, or similar Experience with Git / GitHub Experience with Cloud solutions like AWS or Azure If you are a highly motivated and skilled C# / .NET Developer looking for a challenging role in a dynamic environment, please apply today.
