If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.We are currently seeking a Smart Hands Break-Fix Networking Specialist - New York to join our team in White Plains, New York (US-NY), United States (US).This role will provide Smart Hands Break-Fix support for network equipment in IT closets at various campus/site.?**This role requires working onsite daily at our client's facility and requires employee to be fully vaccinated on or before start date, to the extent required by applicable law.We support this client 24/7, so this role could include evenings or weekends.Responsibilities:Work closely with the remote resolution team to provide smart hands support on siteNetwork gear Hands & Eyes support Perform on-site visual verificationsReset cables, cable replacementRack/un-rack of physical network components Move, remove, swap or replace network equipmentReplace ports, module, fansNetwork equipment resetsPower cycling, module/disk insertion/reset?Provide console access, assist remote network team on break/fix issues for network devicesExtensive travel throughout New York CityBasic Qualifications:5+ years of networking experienceAbility to lift 50 lbsAdditional Preferences:Availability for on-call rotationShould have Basic knowledge of Networks and Networking DevicesMust be flexible to work shift/weekend scheduleShould know how to Console to the devicesShould know about resetting the cables, rebooting the devices etcAbility to work effectively with minimal supervisionTechnical experience, technical aptitudeMust be able to travel to various customer sitesNet+ CertificationStrong time-management and organizational skillsAbility to multi-taskDetail orientedWhere required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $82,000 – $102,000.
