Our work depends on a SI&T Alignment Engineer joining our team to support the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) activities in the Northern Virginia and Washington DC areas.

As a SI&T Alignment Engineer supporting PEO IWS, you will be trusted to bring together a multi-disciplinary team that is geographically dispersed to provide engineering planning, design, integration, installation, and test of Aegis Combat Systems (ACS) onboard ships post-construction and during maintenance availabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting Aegis Combat System Alignment Verification. Specific responsibilities include:
Conduct shipboard or site alignment testing, data processing, review and analysis of alignment verification data Review and produce adaptation data products, including identify and resolve issues Conduct shipboard testing according to government furnished test procedures. Ability to work collaboratively as part of the larger GDIT Navy and Marine Corps Sector WHAT YOU'LL NEED: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline/experience is required (Master's degree is preferred, but will accept years of experience in lieu of) A US DoD Secret security clearance is required.
