Shop Yard Attendant

API Supply Lifts has an opening for a full-time Delivery & Shop Helper to support our operation. This person is responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly parts area, shop and yard. Washing of equipment is a large portion of this job. In addition, this person performs duties, such as delivering/picking up equipment, cleaning work area, machines, and tools. They also assist customers with loading and unloading their lifts with a forklift. This is a great starting position that allows the candidate to learn all aspects of our business. Responsibilities: Clean and wash equipment as they return from rent. Delivery & pickup of equipment Shop and facility clean up and maintenance. Ships and receives parts and materials. Provides assistance to other departments as requested. Safely loads and unloads customer trucks and pick-ups Maintains a clean and orderly wash bay area at all times. Cleans equipment using proper procedures Cleans and maintains grounds, parking lots, and other areas, as assigned Works in a cooperative manner with team and supervisors Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED required Commercial license a plus Some experience required in shop or yard, operating equipment and forklifts Dependable, self-starter, and hard-working Good communication and customer service skills Team-player and willing to help wherever needed Maintains safe and organized work area Able to operate required equipment safely (examples include pressure washer, forklift, aerial equipment) Ability to lift and move 70lbs Full time positions with competitive wage, full benefit package including PTO, medical, dental, life, 401k & uniforms. Ability to occasionally lift 75 lbs. as well as pre-employment drug screen required.
