Shop Supervisor

Your main tasks and responsibilities: Assigns work to subordinates and assists them in accomplishing tasks Resolves issues with work instructions to shop, including interfacing with engineering, purchasing, planning, and contracts managers Writes and processes paperwork required by position including supplies requisitions, maintenance requisitions, labor reporting, yard clearance documents, quality notifications etc. Coordinates and communicates schedules and requirements with other departments where services and materials are provided or received Participates in production meetings with the current status of work in process and provides input on schedule versus actual capacity Performs personnel management functions such as performance appraisals and development guidance Support, cooperate, and participate in company-wide LEAN and EHS Management System which includes following all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures. Supports and cooperates in company-wide Quality Management effort Adheres to company and department policies, procedures, and standards Perform other duties as assigned.
