HSM is seeking qualified candidates for the Shipping Receiving Plant role at our PTI location in Hickory, NC. This is a 1 st shift position (Monday – Friday, 7am – 3:30pm).

Reviews loading tallies and stages orders Loads and offloads trailers per shipping schedule Communicates and works with driver to ensure necessary paperwork is completed Assist with cycle counts Uses forklifts (both forks and clamps) to transfer product to the designated locations Scan items to accurately record product movement within JDE Assist with housekeeping throughout the department Adheres to company policies and procedures Any job duties assigned by manager or lead Must have basic math skills Must have good communication skills Must have excellent safety history Must be able to work overtime if necessary Must be able to read and write Must be computer literate Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time Must be able to bend, stoop or climb to reach materials Must be capable of operating a forklift As an Shipping & Recieving Handler at HSM, you'll enjoy:
