Eaton's IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving - 1st Shift. This position is based at our Tualatin, OR location. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for providing manufacturing expertise and support in the shipping area including, but not limited to, allocation of materials, kitting, verifying, receiving, and shipping with the overall goal of timely order fulfillment and adherence to Eaton's quality and on time delivery standards.The hourly rate for this position is $24.00 per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you'll do:• Perform and record inspections reports accordingly and the results of the inspections. Report to the Supplier Quality Engineer any rejection and identify the material as nonconforming• Responsible for all aspects of shipping and receiving including data entry, storage, inventory control and counts, staging, and shipping (including international shipments).• Coordinate material in order to meet production ship dates and supply production with necessary parts/kits and assist shipping dock as needed.• Assist receiving dock and production material handling as needed• Maintain your assigned work-area by keeping it clean and organized per 5S standards and implement continuous improvement findings.• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills so as to resolve any obstacles or delays that may occur in the shipping/receiving process• Perform all other duties and tasks as assignedQualifications:Basic Qualifications:• HS diploma or GED from an accredited institution• 1-3 years shipping / receiving experience• Candidate must reside within 50 miles of site locationPreferred Qualifications:• Previous Manufacturing Experience• Computer Programs: (SAP & Microsoft Office)• Working knowledge of lean concepts• Forklift certification and/or experienceSkills:• Position requires willingness to become certified in operation of forklifts and other hand tools to transport and locate equipment and materials to required areas.• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs with reasonable accommodation.
