This team ismainly responsiblefor improving process quality, working on yield and efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and resolving manufacturing line problems.Additionalresponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Safety and Quality:Completes all required safety training and conducting all workin accordance withsafety policiesCreates andmaintainsa safe work environmentPerforms safety audits and walkthroughsConsistently supports established safety and quality processesParticipates in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) actionsContributes to continuous improvement andproblem-solvingeffortsIdentifiesand helps resolve training opportunities or procedure gapsEnsures the quality of task updates andpassdownsManages queue time alerts and helps coordinate when to stop/start lot orderingResponsibilities:Resolve yield, quality,defectand equipment related issuesApply SPC, FDC, and 8Dmethodologytoidentify, diagnose and resolve process issuesAnalyze data using various application and engineering knowledge to make critical process decisionsProvide troubleshooting support for complex process issuesCoordinate and lead meetings; track action items and provide resources fortimelyclosure of actionsPerform project work tooptimizewafer processingThe willingness and ability to work any shift (12-hour shifts), which includes weekends, nights, and holidaysMaintain safety training and actin accordance withsafety and environmental sustainability guidelinesWorkstation Efficiency:Demonstratesexpertisein driving area routine operations to ensure throughput needs are accomplishedIdentifieschronic area inefficiencies and works on resolving them through CIP, area suggestion or trainingUses planning reports such as Workstation Constraints Reports, GANTT charts, andToolMonto improve area constraintsProactively addresses operational inefficiencies bymonitoringsystems, addressingnotificationsand raising issuesPartners with area engineering on workstation and operational enhancementsCoversadditionalworkstations and tasks during staffing shortages or at supervisor directionMonitors status of key bottlenecks and priority workstations throughout shift to ensure they are running efficientlyEnsures tasks status is being updated and all relevant lot information is commented and passed down to next shiftDrives to shift game plan as developed by MA and SupervisorSupport Training and Documentation:Updates or helps create procedures to align with area practices and to support trainingEnsures Assessor checklists and other documents are kept up to dateParticipates in the integration of new Learning items in the area(s)Performs area assessments and certifications on timeIdentifiesthe need and helps create training referencesAssistsin the training of others as directed by leadershipEnsures Best Known Methods (BKM's) are documented and shared with the teamSkills and Experience:Demonstrated knowledge of statistics, Algebra, and English courseworkProven ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verballyProven ability to accurately read and interpret verbal and written instructions to improve area efficiencyBasic understanding of Microsoft Office,including:Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and ExcelProven ability to effectively type a minimum of 40 words per minuteThe willingness and ability to work any shift (12-hour shifts), which includes weekends, nights, and holidaysBasic understanding of semiconductor production operations conceptsDemonstrated time management and prioritization skillsProven ability in multi-tasking and driving basic projectsBasic understanding of SPC principlesProven ability to troubleshoot basic problems andidentifyand resolve root causesProven ability to recognize performance gaps andidentifysteps to improveProven ability to follow basic procedures and work with minimal supervisionMinimum Qualifications:Two-yearindustry relatedassociate degreeor higherIndustry experienceMilitarytraining/experienceWorking towards STEM related degreeAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
