In this position you will supervise tool performance,scheduleand perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to solve and repair equipment issues. Theyare also required toassistwith equipmentinstalls, engineering tests, build andmodifyequipment procedures, increase tool uptime through systematic problem solving and quality workmanship, and thoroughly document all maintenance.Safety & Quality:Completes all required safety training andconductsall workin accordance withsafety policies.Creates andmaintainsa safe work environment.Performs safety audits and walkthroughs.Consistently supports established safety and quality processes.Participates in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) actions.Contributes to continuous improvement andproblem-solvingefforts.Identifiesand helps resolve training opportunities or procedure gaps.Ensures the quality of task updates andpassdowns.Manages queue time alerts and helps coordinate when to stop/start lot ordering.Communication & Teamwork:Worksefficiently at a world class level, collaborateswith all areas and work functions.Must be willing to work any shift on a rotating schedule (allowing for flexibility around school schedule where applicable)Partnerswith 1st Shift Engineers and ShiftEngineers/Techniciansto implement daily activities to resolve issues that could cause yield loss, excursions, defects, tool restrictions, or output loss.Collaborateswith leaders onimprovement opportunities to construct personal performance and development goals.Provides clear written communication.Ensurespass down communications are updated and accurately reflects the work performed and tool current statuses.Ensuresmaintenance and work is effectively completedand trackedto high quality standards.Technical/Data Analysis:Ability tosolveequipment and process issuesandenable manufacturing development.Providementorship topeersandresolve highly technical equipment issues.Driveroot causeanalysistopermanent prevention.Improveoverall equipment effectiveness withing theTotal Productive Maintenance culture.Partnerwithteammates toeliminatedefectsandcreate continuous improvement projects.Analyzedata with SPC principlestoimproveprocess controlsand reducedefectivity baselines.Effectively manageequipment SPC performancetoenable more effective equipmentprocessing.Project Management/Planning:Lead continuous improvement projects includingeveryday activities Micron.Collaboratewith equipment owners to develop, prioritize, and run projects.Leadprojects to ensureobjectivesare completed within the required scope,scheduleand budget.Trackactions and providesolution paths or resources to ensure actionsarecompleted on time.Strong project managementskills.MinimumQualifications:BS degree in a related technical field such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering OR an AS degree accompanied by 5+ years of semiconductor confirmed experience.Proficient in electrical, vacuum, gas flow and mechanical fundamentalsincluding skilled at usingschematic diagrams to fix systems to components level.Intermediateto advancedsoftware skills,i.e.Python, Java, Tableau, Matlab, MS Office Suite,Jmp,Solidworks, andAutocad.Ability to learnarea equipmentincluding knowledge ofprocess recipes.Firm understandingonhowthe equipmentis designed to process.Intermediate understanding of the Fab process areas and including area processing equipment and supporting systems.Strongtime management, organization,prioritizationand communication skills.As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
