Responsibilities
• Train and assist users in the proper use of microscopes• Consult with researchers on experimental design• Update operator manuals for all microscopes• Order supplies and keep the core area organized• Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
• BS/BA degree and two years of related experience• Experience in microscopy image acquisition and analysis• Strong computer skills• Strong written, verbal, and customer service skills• Willingness to help researchers with imaging projects• Willingness to help with other instrumentation
Key Skills Needed
• Confocal, fluorescence, and brightfield microscopy• Live cell imaging• Tissue processing and embedding• Microtomes• H&E staining, IF, IHC, and other staining procedures• Sartorius Incucyte Imaging systems• Strong computer skills• Strong written, verbal, and customer service skills
