Job summary
The Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for providing superior customer service in the Alterations department.The CSR welcomes and services customers, answers phone calls, presses garments, and ensures items are ready for pickup.This role contributes to the overall achievement of Five-Star Customer Service in the store.

Responsibilities
• Welcome and service customers with genuine enthusiasm in person, over the phone, and through virtual chats.• Manage customer flow using all systems to deliver a five-star customer experience.• Meet all service vows, including preparing for customer appointments and meeting their emotional and practical needs.• Proactively address customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.• Promote alterations services and personalization options.• Maintain store standards, including cleanliness, organization, and promotional readiness.• Greet and escort alterations customers for their appointments.• Press, steam, and spot clean merchandise.• Build long-term relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.• Process special orders, pick-ups, and maintain inventory standards.• Process transactions with accuracy and seek assistance from the Alterations Manager when needed.• Maintain a clean and organized alterations room.• Perform assigned duties and tasks as directed by store management.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent degree.• 1-2 years of prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.• Prior sewing experience is helpful.• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is preferred.
