Job Summary: Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS)- Engineered Systems is seeking a key member of its Field Service Management team in the West region, leading a team of two to five professional field service employees. The Field Area Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the Mountain geography and ensuring that their team meets their targets and objectives. Key Characteristics Duties & Responsibilities : Lead a dispersed team of Field Service Employees within an assigned geography / contracts portfolio Manage contracts and operations at our customer sites to ensure a safe working condition, contract compliance, and financial performance Responsible for staffing and the development of Field Service Employees within your geography / contracts portfolio Responsible for operational metrics such as Environmental, Health and Safety performance, employee utilization, overtime and operational costs Help build strong relationships with our customer base Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred: Experience with large scale equipment commissioning and operations Previous Leadership experience with a field-based team Demonstrated ability to communicate with those you work with Strong troubleshooting skills - ability to analyze and resolve problems Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office suite of applications. Project management skills Knowledge/experience in the heavy industry (Power, Mining, Refining…) Purpose driven (looking to contribute positively for our planet) Education & Experience Required BS degree in a technical field - for example Chemistry, or Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or five years' experience and relevant leadership experience in industrial water, wastewater, or related field Ability and willingness to travel within assigned geography, with an estimated travel of 40-60% Around the globe, we help cities and industries manage, optimize and make the most of their resources.
