Service Worker / Hospital Laundry Service

Job Title: Linen Service Worker / Hospital Laundry service shift 1st, 2nd Pay: $23.75/hr on w2 Client: Hoag Memorial Hospital Location: Newport Beach, CA Schedule Notes: Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday.
Full time, 1st shift, 4+ month starting duration with expectation to extend. Please ensure full JD attachment is reviewed for physical requirements. Role requires pushing heavy loads of linen and shifting them around. Candidates MUST have prior linen room experience. Position Summary:
-Contributes to the effective operation of the Linen Services Department by: daily distributing and stocking clean linens throughout the hospital; ordering and maintaining inventory levels of clean linen; stocking exchange carts and bulk delivery carts; transporting carts from linen room to the hospital and back.
-The Linen Service worker will also distribute scrubs and lab coats to all user areas as well as maintain a record of linens and garments distributed and entering that data into a computer database.
-In addition, the Linen Service worker will clean and maintain linen rooms.
-The Linen Services worker may occasionally fill in as an EVS Tech as needed.
-This involves cleaning and supplying of patient rooms, treatment rooms, restrooms, utility rooms, nurseries, nursing stations, lounges, offices, waiting areas, and other areas as assigned in accordance with standard policies and procedures.
-May perform other duties as necessary.Skills:Required Skills & Experience:

Preferred Skills & Experience:
-Previous hospital experience preferred.
