C & B Material Handling, LLC (part of the C & B Equipment family), a leader and supplier of choice in material handling equipment, automation solutions, and industrial equipment rental, is seeking an Onsite Service Technician – Engineered Products TMMWV for our location in Buffalo, West Virginia. This role is essential in maintaining our reputation for quality by installing, servicing and maintaining customer and/or dealer-owned docks, overhead doors and crane equipment.

Essential Duties: Able to independently perform preventative maintenance tests, adjustments, repairs and inspections on overhead crane systems, trash compactors, conveyors, loading dock equipment and overhead doors. Assembles and tests motor-control devices, switch panels, transformers, solenoids, and other electrical equipment and components according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles. Conduct site evaluations to ensure proper equipment selection and installation. Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to understand customer requirements and provide technical support. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during installation and maintenance procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any installation or maintenance concerns promptly. Maintain accurate records of installations, services, and repairs. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and new technologies. Requirements Proven experience and knowledge in the installation and maintenance of docks, overhead doors, and overhead crane equipment. Strong technical and mechanical aptitude. Ability to read and follow pneumatics and schematics. Knowledge of fabrication and welding preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Weekend work required. Commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Physical capability to perform job functions, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, and reaching.
