Service / Parts Department Driver

Mitchell Selig Ford is looking for a road warrior! - Someone who enjoys driving! - A service and parts department driver position is available and we are looking for an immediate filling!This is a Full Time Position -- Monday through Friday from 7:30am - 4:30pm with an hour lunch each dayThis position interacts daily with the Administrative Assistants, Managers, Customers, Vendors and part warehouses just to name a few. Some of the responsibilities and job requirements are as follows...Deliver automotive parts & equipment to customers, satellite stores and vendors.Pick up & Drop off customersExchange Vehicles (Dealership to Dealership/Auction)Pick up and Delivery vehicles to customers house or place of businessLeading yourself and the team in a way that supports our Company Vision and MissionInspect vehicles for stains, debris and damages before returning the vehicle to the dealership, and report any damage immediatelyPick up vehicles from and deliver vehicles and goods to their destined locationsDeliver important documents to our main office in Simsbury, CT and back to us here at the dealership as requiredDaily trash runs to the back of the buildingKeeping wheel weights in stock for the service departmentJob Requirements:Skills/Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to drive manual transmission vehicles helpfulDemonstrated customer service skillsMust have a valid driver's licenseAbility to operate an automobile- We have a growing family and would love a motivated person to join our team - and possibly someone who is interested in the car industry as a plus!
