This is a full-time position. This is a non-exempt hourly position.
Training wage: $ 19.97 to $ 19.97/hour
Starting pay: $17.25/hour to $17.25/hour plus tips.
Pay range for position: $17.25/hour to $18.25/hour plus tips.
This is a tip-pooled house. Tips are calculated daily x hours worked - $20-29 per hour.
The Service Lead is responsible for maintaining the service, hospitality and management philosophy set by Sea Creatures Executive Management when the GM is not on premise and assist the GM in all service operations while working cohesively with team members. As Service Lead, organization and the ability to think and act quickly while communicating effectively with self-composure to staff and guests is a necessity. This is a hands on, lead by example, public facing position. Oversight and management of service operations while working cohesively with team members is a priority as is compliance with all applicable sanitation and health procedures and policies. This person needs to be dynamic, flexible, and enjoy a varied schedule of Server and Service Lead shifts.
Requirements for the position: Immediate employment, Saturday and Sunday availability required
Minimum 2 years prior experience as a server, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
Possesses a creative and collaborative drink-making approach.
Knowledge of food, drink recipes, local & European wine, and spirits.
Working knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Positive verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform with confidence and efficiency, quickly with grace.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and spend up to six hours standing/walking.
Flexible availability including weekdays and weekends. Daytime availability and weekend availability are a must.

Paid time off / Paid Sick Leave -
For part-time (Working 25 or fewer hours a week /seasonal employees) - As required under Washington's Paid Sick Leave law, the employee will be accruing 0.025 hours of Paid Sick Leave for each hour worked.
For full-time employees (Working 25 or more hours a week): the employee will be accruing 0.038 hours of Paid Time Off for each hour worked up to 80 hours a year. After 5 years of working with the company, the employee will start accruing 0.057 hours of Paid Time Off up to 120 hours a year.
