As a Service Advisor at Lucid, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients and ensuring their comfort at all steps of the service process. You will greet clients promptly, consult with technicians, accurately document client concerns for diagnosis and repair, and explain all service options to clients, including time and cost estimates. You will also track all client vehicles through the maintenance and repair process, ensuring that work done meets Lucid's exacting standards before vehicles are returned to clients.Responsibilities:Greet clients promptly and offer excellent customer experience at all steps of the service processEnsure clients thoroughly understand the service process and are comfortable at all steps of their experienceExplain all service options to clients including time and cost estimatesTrack all client vehicles through the maintenance and repair processConsult with technicians regarding appropriate service options where neededAccurately document client concerns for diagnosis and repair by technicians (write RO)Follow correct repair order documentation procedures, i.e., The Three C'sEnsure that work done meets Lucid's exacting standards before vehicles are returned to clients – act as the last QC stepInvoice and collect paymentPerform a thorough redelivery process, ensuring all client needs have been met, clients understand all services performed, and answer any questions that may arisePerform customer service duties such as answer phones, scheduling appointments (where needed), and calling customers to update them on repair status or to follow up after repairs are completedDevelop rapport with clients leading to lasting relationshipsHave a passion for sustainable transportation and changing the automotive industryQualifications:High School Diploma or GED5+ years providing excellent customer experienceExcellent interpersonal skillsCompassionate and patient demeanorProblem-solving and creative thinking skillsGeneral automotive knowledge (not required) or willingness to learnAbility to explain complicated concepts to clients who may not be familiar with industry terminologyAbility to use basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office as well as learn proprietary DMS softwareMust possess a valid driver licensePreferred Qualifications: AA/BS in either Automotive Technology or Business Management, or equivalent work experienceKnowledge of HV systems, LV systems, and EV powertrainsStart-up experience and related fast-paced environmentsPrevious OEM specific EV experience and trainingAt Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
