Job Title: Service Administrator Position Overview Coordinate and schedule Service Center resources to fulfill orders in a timely and efficient manner. Promote and accurately communicate General Chemical & Supply services to customers to meet their needs. Be prepared to execute all service center administrative activities and customer services.
Responsibilities Include Assist customers and sales in placing orders daily. Communicate with Sanitary Maintenance Consultants regarding pricing, concerns, orders, and requests. Schedule Installations, and repairs in tandem with the Lead Repair Tech Schedule Equipment Pickups Keep Service Center Area neat and orderly Back up Lead Service Tech Handle all orders from customers and initiate corresponding processes Assist customers with product knowledge of all equipment sold Research and resolve customer problems accurately and efficiently Promptly and accurately follow procedures and fill out paperwork for all orders Works safely and follows appropriates policies, and government mandated guidelines for safe handling and work processes Prepare Estimates to be quoted to customers; communicate with the Lead Service Tech as needed Administer Planned Maintenance Programs Make sure orders have accurate pricing and costs Process warranties Assign tasks to Service Center Customer Service as appropriate and ensure they are following the correct procedures Wear appropriate and approved clothing and safety equipment Coordinate, and prioritize needs and tasks as they change Meet industry performance and quality standards Cross departmental engagement with internal support teams to promote customer service, good teamwork and help meet company goals Performs other duties as assigned The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in an administrative role High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred. A driver's license in good standing Some Knowledge of the following preferred: Mechanical Ability Excellent Communication and Organization skills Ability to read instructions and diagrams Fluent in Microsoft Office, AMS, and Salesforce software Must be Client focused, Positive, energetic, and motivated Ability to foster and maintain professional relationships Able to manage high stress or busy periods while remaining focused, positive, and united. Adept at managing multiple priorities efficiently and effectively Complex problem solving from a technical mechanical perspective Committed to continuing to expand knowledge and capabilities Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is may be required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate machinery, stoop, bend or kneel Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to reading of related work documents, such as bills of lading, orders, documents, etc. Moderate to heavy lifting up to 50 lbs may be required (some industrial machine assistance available) Ability to manage the fluctuating stress levels that come as a natural part of the running of business Steady moderate to high activity and movement throughout the day Regular, predictable attendance is required as business demands dictate, but typically a minimum of 40 hours per week This position offers a competitive starting salary and comprehensive benefits program.
