Breeze is hiring- join us!The Senior Vice President Operations reports to the Chief Operations Officer and is responsible for the oversight of all Technical Operations as well as the Integrated Operations Control Center (IOCC). This leader is responsible for Technical Training, Maintenance Operations, Engineering and Quality. In addition, they will also be responsible for operational excellence by overseeing Crew Resources, Flight Dispatch, Charter, and Guest Operations within the IOCC.
This Sr. VP will work closely with the Breeze commercial planning team to meet strategic goals and ensure operations success by tactically building our operations plans. Finally, this leader is responsible for analyzing current and past operations, creating corrective action plans then executing the plan to ensure future success.
Here's what you'll doWork closely with the COO to establish clear overall business and operating strategy for the Technical and Integrated Operations teamsUse analytical data to ensure operational excellence and to identify opportunities for enhancement of the operationPlan, communicate and implement the total maintenance programs required for Breeze's fleetResponsible for all functions of the IOCC, ensuring safe operations throughout the day, every dayResponsible for the growth and development of the leaders on the Technical Operations and IOCC teamsEstablish and control technical safety and airworthiness standards for the Breeze fleet in conformance with FAA requirementsIdentify, evaluate, and implement ways to improve reliability, cycle time, quality and costOversee all maintenance activity of the aircraft fleet, engines, and components, as well as all aircraft modification while managing relationships with major Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) providers.Receive all operational constraints from each department and ensuring execution is possible compared to the plan and providing feedback to the operations and planning teamsContinuously analyze current workflows and processes and implements process improvement plansCollaborate closely with the Director of Operations (DO) and Director of Maintenance to identify issues, find resolutions and ensure operational excellenceBe responsible for the technical & operation systems and analytical toolsProvide strong leadership that inspires team members to reach their highest potentialEncourage leadership development by providing consistent and frequent feedbackHere's what you need to be successfulMinimum QualificationMinimum ten (10) years of experience in airline industrySeven (7) years of experience in an airline leadership roleExperience leading a large and diverse work forceExpert knowledge in excel, Skywise and predictive toolsExtensive knowledge of fleet technical management and regulatory requirementsFull understanding of airline operationsMust have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986Current Passport with the ability to travel to and from the United States without restrictionsAbility to work flexible hours and be available for emergency response on short noticePreferred Qualifications4-year degree from an accredited universityExtensive knowledge of Power BI or tableau reportingExperience working with the MRO communitySkills/TalentsExemplifies Breeze's safety culture, values, and missionEffective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a diverse groups of peopleExcellent problem-solving skillsExpert knowledge in data mining, predictive toolsAbility to work with individuals and teams at all levels in the organizationAbility to communicate effectively in front of executive leadership and external government agenciesAbility to work autonomously in an entrepreneurial environmentExcellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once, maintaining a positive work environmentProficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Work, Excel, Power Point & Teams)Ability to work with initiative and creativity when managing multiple projects under constant deadline pressure and high stress situationsStrong presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organizationPerks of the JobHealth, Vision and DentalHealth Savings Account with Breeze Employee Match401K with Breeze Employee MatchPTOTravel on Breeze and other Airlines too!
