What You'll Be Doing Cadmus seeks a motivated professional to provide key support to transportation, equity, and urban planning projects. The Senior Urban Planning Analyst will play a pivotal role supporting clients with large, place-based technical assistance design and delivery to communities across the country.
This will include leveraging analytical capabilities to drive infrastructure investments toward more inclusive and equitable outcomes. The Senior Urban Planning Analyst will p rovide data analysis, research, and tools to prospective and current recipients of large federal infrastructure grants. Ultimately, the work will support local governments and community-based organizations in identifying and advancing community reconnection efforts, advising on resources and strategic partnerships, and undertaking and completing planning studies.

Responsibilities: Provide technical value to clients around transportation planning processes, such as participatory planning; performance-based planning; transportation scenario analysis, comprehensive planning, and federal statewide/metropolitan planning and programming. Leverage urban analytical skills to support project delivery, including the development of capacity building tools and analyses for disadvantaged communities. Complete work assigned by project managers in a timely and high-quality fashion and with a high degree of independence. Take on leadership role for project assignments as required by project manager or task lead. Ensure high-quality client deliverables in all activities. Support opportunity capture and proposal efforts, including administering data calls, coordinating subcontractor team members, preparing technical writing, and pricing. Help develop business and promote Cadmus' brand through conference and journal submissions and presentations. Occasional travel may be required. Required Qualifications: Master's degree required. A minimum of four years of experience in transportation, urban planning, civic analytics, or working with disadvantaged communities. We will also consider other internships or work experience that demonstrates independent decision-making, customer-interfacing responsibilities, and mentoring/training of others. Strong analytical and computer skills, including GIS, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills (you will interact with employees, consultants, partners, clients, subcontractors, and vendors). Strong writing skills, particularly for communicating complex, technical material in a clear, succinct, and readable manner. Candidates must have the ability to obtain a security clearance, public trust or suitability - requires US Citizenship. Occasional travel may be required.  Additional Information: Based on eligibility and job status, Cadmus offers an excellent benefits package to include: medical, dental, vision, company paid disability and life insurance, 401(k) program, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, voluntary time off (VTO), tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance program, other optional benefits and various bonus programs.
The minimum starting salary for this position is $70,000. The actual salary may be higher and will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
