About the Position : The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) is currently seeking a Senior Training and Event Specialist for the Training Institute division of Central Office. This position is responsible for oversight and ensuring compliance for all agency issued Continuing Education Units (CEU) and Continuing Medical Education (CME). This position also supports conference logistics, data collection and reporting. Additionally, this position may supervise lower-level staff. Key Responsibilities: Serve as primary CEU/CME accreditation compliance liaison for Training Institute and ODMHSAS. Collect and manage CEU and CME content and documentation for all Training Institute trainings. Ensure compliance for agency, maintaining all required documentation and reporting to various licensure boards. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with various state licensing boards, including but not limited to CLEET, CLE, LADC/CADC, and CME. Stay current with recertification and reaccreditation requirements for state licensing boards.   Oversee CEU/CME content and application submission for ODMHSAS conferences. Conduct ongoing assessment of continuing education processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes. Contribute to conference planning and logistics, communication, and day of support. Provide support to Training Institute Conference Program Manager; This position may mentor and provide guidance to Training Institute staff. Job Type/Salary: Application period:04/04/24 – 04/18/24 Full-time Vacancies: 1 Annual Salary is $61,350.00 Primary Working Hours are M-F; 8-5 FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 1 year of experience in continuing education or workforce development program environment. OR an equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CEU/CME licensure boards, policies and processes Experience in MS Office Suite and spreadsheet development Experience utilizing project management software Experience working within an LMS Special Requirements: Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver's license Benefit Highlights:
