This will require skills to lead medium to large-scale projects. Together, we will drive global multi-functional efforts with geographically dispersed team members and will be responsible for developing and leading efforts, ensuring project work and business objectives are met. To be successful, you will build, track and report on projects in our portfolio. You will lead the completion of achievements by prioritizing actions, documenting risks and mitigations and communicating the status to all interested partners and key customers. More broadly, you will help surprise and delight Mozillians, both internal and external!What you'll do:Lead multiple projects, tasks, events, and initiatives concurrentlyCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the precise execution of projectsEnsure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and budgetDeveloping project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant partners, and ensuring technical feasibilityWork with remote employees as effectively as local onesDevelop a detailed project plan to track progressUse appropriate verification techniques to lead changes in project scope, schedule, and costsMeasure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniquesReport and call out significant achievements and risks to deployment with management and other partners as neededDevelop the relationship with the client and business PartnersPerform risk management to minimize project risksEstablish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendorsBuild and maintain comprehensive project documentationWhat you'll bring:5+ years of project management experience in an IT/Operations environmentExcellent interpersonal skills to juggle many activities without losing sight of the highest-priority itemsAbility to understand complex concepts and make reasoned decisions with sometimes imperfect dataGood communication skills, relationship-building, and negotiation skillsBe results and detail-orientedAbility to communicate and interact with leaders within IT and the businessExperience with different project management methodologies such as Agile (Scrum, AUP, etc) and WaterfallExperience working with Infrastructure, IT, Cloud and Security ProgramsExperience working with a geographically dispersed workforce through video conferencing, Internet chat, and other collaboration tools.Knowledge of cloud infrastructure is an assetWhat you'll get:Generous performance-based bonus plans to all eligible employees - we share in our success as one teamRich medical, dental, and vision coverageGenerous retirement contributions with 100% immediate vesting (regardless of whether you contribute)Quarterly all-company wellness days where everyone takes a pause togetherCountry specific holidays plus a day off for your birthdayOne-time home office stipendAnnual professional development budgetQuarterly well-being stipendConsiderable paid parental leaveEmployee referral bonus programOther benefits (life/AD&D, disability, EAP, etc. - varies by country)About Mozilla Mozilla exists to build the Internet as a public resource accessible to all because we believe that open and free is better than closed and controlled.
